About Us

Tansey Builders is a family owned business that has been offering premium building services for over 25 years. Our services can cover all aspects of your building project – from consultation; planning & design; construction; and project management.

Roy Tansey heads up the team, he is fully registered and licensed and the originator of Tansey Builders Pty Ltd. After years of operation, Roy was joined by his son, Aaron Tansey, who now operates as the site supervisor and lead carpenter on many sites. Together they form the basis of the company and provide the leadership required to plan and supervise a team of qualified and trusted tradesmen. More recently Joel Tansey has also joined the team, after gaining qualifications as a building designer, Joel now heads up the drafting and building design aspects of the business.

The Team

One advantage of having a small team overseeing Tansey Builders Pty Ltd is that each job becomes more focused at the time of operation. Whether it is in construction or planning, we can offer our full attention to the smaller details to produce a higher quality finish without all the hiccups that so often plague larger companies.

As a small company each job becomes special to us often developing relationships with clients that continue as friends after the work is completed. Roy would be quick to admit that it has taken many years to develop a team of reliable and trustworthy tradies that we can communicate with and trust to do the job correctly without any shortcuts or inappropriate charges to clients. We remain committed to using qualified and trusted tradesmen, each one in their own area of expertise.

Location

The Tansey Builders office is based in the Glen Waverley area. Primarily we aim to provide services for people in the Southern suburbs, Bayside or South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. However, we have also completed projects as far afield as Coburg, Olinda, or Frankston. We are happy to consider any projects within the Melbourne suburban region.
